**Union County Kids and Cops Team Up for Holiday Shopping Spree**

This evening, Union County Chairwoman Kimberly Palmieri-Mouded attended the Heroes and Helpers - Shop with a Cop event hosted at the Target store in Clark, New Jersey. The event brought together local law enforcement officers and community members to spread holiday joy.

Thanks to a $2,500 grant and a partnership with the Institute of Music for Children, 25 kids participated in a special shopping experience. Each child paired up with a police officer for a holiday shopping spree, creating a festive atmosphere and fostering meaningful connections between the youth and members of law enforcement.

The initiative was supported by the Union County Police PBA 73, with PBA President Kenneth Dalrymple playing a key role in organizing and providing assistance. Officers from the Union County Police Department also generously contributed their time to make the event a success.

This collaborative effort highlights the importance of community partnerships in creating memorable experiences and brightening the holiday season for local families.
