**Union County Leaders Join Interfaith Service in Honor of Martin Luther King Jr.**
Union County Commissioner Sergio Granados attended the Martin Luther King Committee of Elizabeth’s 40th Annual Interfaith Service held at Mt. Teman AME Church in Elizabeth, New Jersey. During the event, Commissioner Granados delivered remarks honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and wisdom.
He was joined by Senator Joseph Cryan, Assemblywoman Annette Quijano, and other local leaders who gathered to commemorate the civil rights leader’s contributions and vision. Reverend George Britt presided over the service, which brought together community members in a meaningful celebration.
The event marked a significant milestone in the Committee's annual tradition of reflecting on Dr. King's teachings and fostering unity within the community. Special thanks were extended to all who played a role in organizing and participating in the service.
