**Union County Commissioner Attends African American Flag Raising Ceremony in Elizabeth**

Yesterday, Union County Commissioner Sergio Granados participated in the African American Flag Raising ceremony in front of Elizabeth City Hall. This event was organized to celebrate the history, culture, and contributions of the African American community.

The ceremony was attended by state and local elected officials, community leaders, and students from Elizabeth Public Schools, all gathering to mark the important occasion.

As the flag was raised, those present reflected on the progress made toward equality and justice, while renewing their commitment to promoting inclusivity and advancing efforts for progress within Union County and beyond.
