Rainbow trout stocking in Columbus parks

Columbus residents will see rainbow trout stocked in several city parks this spring, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources said.

Stockings of rainbow trout are planned for Franklin, Goodale, Krumm, Linden, Schiller and Westgate parks on March 23 and April 13. Antrim Park is scheduled for stocking on April 3.

Meter Upgrade Underway in Apex; Phase II Begins Oct. 2025

APEX, N.C. — The town’s Meter System Upgrade to replace most electric meters is underway, Phase 2 is set to begin in October 2025, crews are working in multiple neighborhoods, meters are outdoors so residents don’t need to be home and swaps may cause a brief power loss, Phase 1 is complete, and a new customer portal with detailed usage data is scheduled for summer 2025 with access requests via the town’s online form.
