**Union County Commissioners Celebrate Local Soccer Club at Annual Banquet**

Last night, Union County Commissioner Chairwoman Lourdes Leon, Commissioner Sergio Granados, and Clerk of the Board James Pellettiere attended the 2nd Annual Union Soccer Club Travel Banquet. The event was held at the Portuguese Instructive Social Club located in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

During the banquet, the Commissioners presented a resolution honoring the Union Soccer Club. They also delivered remarks praising the athletes, coaches, and parents for their contributions to the club and their dedication to fostering a strong soccer community. The club focuses on empowering youth both on and off the field, promoting a love for the game and community engagement.

The celebration highlighted the club’s mission to enrich the lives of young players in Union County. Attendees included supporters of the Union Soccer Club and local community members.

Local leaders expressed pride in supporting the organization as it continues to positively impact the county’s youth.
