Ontario County Opens Cooling Centers for Heat Relief

Ontario County officials have announced that cooling centers are available for residents seeking relief from extreme heat. These air-conditioned facilities offer a safe space to cool down during periods of high temperatures.

The following locations are currently serving as cooling centers:

• Clifton Springs Library – 4 Railroad Avenue, Clifton Springs (315-462-7371)

• Geneva Public Library – 244 Main St, Geneva (315-789-5303)

• Geneva Hydrant Hose Co. – 79 Geneva St, Geneva (315-789-6966)

• Gorham Free Library – 2664 Main Street, Gorham (585-526-6655)

• Honeoye Public Library – 8708 Main St, Honeoye (585-229-5020)

• Naples Public Library – 118 S Main St, Naples (585-374-2757)

• Phelps Library – 8 Banta St, Phelps (585-548-3120)

• Red Jacket Community Library – 89 S Main St, Manchester (585-289-7063)

• Victor-Farmington Library – 15 W Main St, Victor (585-924-2637)
