The Union County Human Relations Commission (UCHRC) is accepting nominations for its 2025 Unity Achievement Awards. Nominations are open to individuals who live, work, or attend school in Union County.

The awards feature several categories including Individual, Business Establishment, Community Organization, Nonprofit Organization, Student, Educator, Clergy/House of Worship, Faith-Based Organization, Public Servant, Law Enforcement, Healthcare, Veteran, and Media.

Those interested in nominating someone who has made notable contributions to improve the community and enhance the lives of others can do so through the UCHRC nomination form.

The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, December 18th. Nominations can be submitted online at ucnj.org/uchrc or via email at UCPO@ucpo.org with the subject line "UCHRC Award Nomination."

The UCHRC aims to promote a more inclusive society within Union County by supporting victims of bias crimes and educating the community on related issues.
